Thjnk founds agency in Switzerland - with Alexander Jaggy and Andrea Bison
The Hamburg-based agency group Thjnk is launching Thjnk Zurich in Switzerland on June 1, 2016. The co-founders and managing directors are Alexander Jaggy and Andrea Bison.
Alexander Jaggy was creative director and partner of Jung von Matt/Limmat for 15 years, was voted Advertiser of the Year in 2014 and constantly caused a sensation with outstanding and style-defining work, also internationally. Alexander Jaggy is not only deeply committed to ADC Switzerland. He also regularly represented Switzerland as a juror at international creative competitions.
Andrea Bison is Swiss by choice, a long-time partner of Thjnk and is considered a consulting authority. At agencies such as Jung von Matt, Springer & Jacoby and kempertrautmann, she has been responsible for clients such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Bild, Edding and Gaggenau, both nationally and internationally. Together with CCO Armin Jochum, she led the pitch for the client McDonald's and was instrumental in setting up Leo's Thjnk tank, a joint venture with Leo Burnett.
Thjnk Zurich starts with initially four employees from the areas of consulting, creation, strategy and design. The agency specializes in modern brand management. Thjnk's work is always based on a clever guiding principle and a differentiating, effective idea. Proof of this is provided not least by past Effie results: Thjnk is the first German lead agency to win a golden Global Effie. In 2014, Thjnk was named Euro Effie Agency of the Year, and in 2016 Thjnk again topped the national and international Effie rankings.
Armin Jochum, Co-Founder and Board Member: "Switzerland is an attractive market with brands of national and international importance. Alexander Jaggy is not only an exceptional creative, he is also an outstanding personality. Alexander and Andrea are a dream constellation and the agency in Switzerland a great asset for our agency group."
The Thjnk agency group, founded in summer 2012 by Karen Heumann, Armin Jochum and Michael Trautmann, today comprises 5 Thjnk locations (Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Munich, New York), the design subsidiary loved (Hamburg/Munich) as well as the two joint ventures Leo's Thjnk tank (Munich) and upljft (Hamburg). Today, around 360 employees develop media-neutral, holistic communication concepts and advise on all aspects of strategic brand alignment. Clients include Audi, Ikea, Commerzbank, McDonald's, Rewe and Haribo.
