Change in top management at Wirz: Dreyfus replaces Städeli

Petra Dreyfus replaces Thomas Städeli at the helm of Wirz Communications and takes over the co-management together with Livio Dainese. Thomas Städeli is moving to Wirz Corporate as CEO.

As of April 1, there will be a change in the management of Wirz Communications. Petra Dreyfus will take over from Thomas Städeli. She will co-manage the agency together with creative director Livio Dainese.

Thomas Städeli, who has successfully led Wirz as CEO since 2010 and has been co-head of the company with Livio Dainese since the beginning of 2016, will become CEO of Wirz Corporate on April 1. After 18 years in advertising, he is delighted to be taking on a completely new challenge in the areas of corporate branding and corporate communications. In this role, he will drive forward the strategic development of the agency and the expansion of the range of services in the interests of the Group. Urs Binggeli was Managing Director of Wirz Corporate for 14 years and is delighted to be able to hand over operational management to Thomas Städeli. He will continue to support the company as active Chairman of the Board of Directors.

According to the press release, Petra Dreyfus and Livio Dainese have played a decisive role in the successful development of the agency in recent years and are leading its ongoing realignment. They are supported by the strong management team of Gordon Nemitz, Fernando Perez, Samuel Christ and Daniel Ehrensperger, with whom Wirz has been able to establish a leading position in the Swiss agency world over the last three years.

The realignment was comprehensive: new structures were created, new talent recruited and new units established. Customers such as Suva, Melectronics, WWF, SZKB, Mercedes-Benz, Smart and Kuoni were added.
