Change at the top of Wirz: Dreyfus replaces Städeli

Petra Dreyfus replaces Thomas Städeli at the helm of Wirz Communications and takes over as co-head together with Livio Dainese. Thomas Städeli moves to Wirz Corporate as CEO.

As of 1 April, there will be a change in the management of Wirz Communications. Petra Dreyfus will take over from Thomas Städeli. Together with creative director Livio Dainese, she will co-manage the agency.

Thomas Städeli, who has successfully led Wirz as CEO since 2010 and has been co-leader together with Livio Dainese since the beginning of 2016, will become CEO of Wirz Corporate as of 1 April. He is delighted to be taking on a completely new challenge in the areas of corporate branding and corporate communications after 18 years in advertising. In this role, he will drive the strategic development of the agency and the expansion of its offering in the interests of the group. Urs Binggeli was Managing Director of Wirz Corporate for 14 years and is pleased to hand over operational management to Thomas Städeli. He will continue to accompany the company as an active Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Petra Dreyfus and Livio Dainese have played a decisive role in the agency's successful development over the past few years and are leading its ongoing realignment, according to a statement. They are supported by the strong management team of Gordon Nemitz, Fernando Perez, Samuel Christ and Daniel Ehrensperger, with whom Wirz has been able to establish a top position in the Swiss agency world over the past three years.

The realignment was comprehensive: new structures were created, new talents recruited and new units established. Clients such as Suva, Melectronics, WWF, SZKB, Mercedes-Benz, Smart and Kuoni were added.
