Clothes instead of cards

Instead of sending out Christmas cards, the Avantgarde agency has launched the "Winter Cupboard" campaign.

Under the motto "From those who no longer need it - for those who urgently need it", the agency set up a closet on Langstrasse from December 19 to 21 and filled it with warm winter clothes. From half past one to half past five each day, the clothes were distributed to people who would otherwise not have been able to afford them. There was also an appeal on Facebook to bring unused clothing to support the campaign. In addition, the agency served hot tea.

The action in front of the Longstreet Bar - a complete success. Already on the second day the closet was "sold out" and all clothes collected in advance were distributed. The "winter wardrobe" was supported by numerous - partly also spontaneous - donations of clothes. Since the need is obviously unbroken high, is already working on a continuation, writes the agency on Facebook. (hae)
