The meeting of the 22 member states and the two associated states of the European Space Agency in Lucerne is not only a premiere for the KKL, but also for Standing Ovation: The Swiss event service provider transforms the KKL concert hall into a conference hall for the ESA Council of Ministers. This requires elaborate conversions and major security precautions, the likes of which the KKL has never experienced before. "We know the KKL very well and enjoy the operator's trust, so we were able to implement all of ESA's needs accordingly. We also benefit from our many years of experience in dealing with governmental and non-governmental organizations. We are proud to support such an important organization and thus contribute to the future of humanity and our planet," says Michael Dancsecs, CEO of Standing Ovation.

The ESA mandate for Standing Ovation included the entire meeting organization and logistics on site, extensive hospitality services, the implementation of side events and social events as well as coordination and interface tasks with local authorities and service providers. The Ministerial Council meeting will focus on the implementation of "United Space in Europe" within the framework of the "Space 4.0" vision as well as on the future of the International Space Station ISS, the ExoMars program and numerous research programs. A total of around 420 people attended the meeting, including 22 ministers and President Johan Schneider-Ammann.
