Positive thinking is good, savings interest is better

Bank Cler is starting the new year on a positive note. And literally so. The humorous and surprising campaign by Heimat Zürich promotes savings accounts that are attractive again thanks to positive interest rates.

After 16 years, an almost historic turnaround in interest rates took place this year. The result: saving is finally worthwhile again. To promote its savings accounts and the conditions, Bank Cler, together with the creative agency at Helvetiaplatz, is relying on a surprising and loud message in its current campaign. Those who believe in the power of positive thinking are hardly thinking about savings interest, but about other, supernatural fates of life.

In the campaign, a self-proclaimed financial guru, a motivational coach and a spiritual life coach invoke the power of positive thinking with mantra-like wisdom à la "I receive money with open arms" or "Money miraculously comes to me." The resolution, on the other hand, is all the more earthly: "Positive thinking is good, savings interest is better."

In addition to films and various online formats, the campaign also includes posters, editorial articles, and in-branch activations. As a special campaign, fortune cookies with the happy message will be distributed to passers-by in several Swiss train stations and Bank Cler branches.
