Maybaum Film: Recruiting film for computer science cracks
The ICT profession is urgently looking for new professionals. ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz has therefore teamed up with Maybaum Film. In cooperation with the Baden-based production company, a recruiting film with a retro-cyber look was created.
The demand for digital solutions is growing. The ICT occupational field therefore needs more and more specialists. However, there is a general shortage of specialists, according to ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz. The association is responsible for all federal professional qualifications in IT and mediamatics and is the examining body for various federal certificates and diplomas in the field.
In the commercial, motion graphics are used to create a retro-cyber look. The color scheme is based on the company's corporate identity. The blue-green hues also create a link to the digital world.
With dance interludes by the protagonists, the spot differs from conventional digitization films. The fact that millennials dance in a retro setup "also gives the whole thing something funny," says Noemi Krüsi of Maybaum Film.
The film was shot on one day in the company's own studio in Baden. The preparation of the setup in particular took a lot of time. The challenge was to coordinate the mographs with the lighting. The message of the commercial is "Code your future"; with a higher vocational education ICT it becomes possible to boost your career, get more salary or more independence.
The clip is aimed at employers and those interested in continuing education. It will be distributed mainly on the social channels and the website of ICT Berufsbildung Schweiz.
