Kreisvier wins pitch for DIY giant Jumbo

The Basel agency Kreisvier can be pleased about a "weighty" budget: In the pitch for the DIY brand Jumbo, it was able to prevail with its communication concept for the new appearance planned from the second half of the year.

Kreisvier gewinnt Pitch um Baumarkt-Riesen JumboThis was requested due to the merger of Switzerland's two largest DIY retailers: Jumbo and Coop Bau+Hobby will operate under the joint name Jumbo in the future.

"The new brand identity helps to show Coop Bau+Hobby customers that their usual point of sale is also the number one for building, gardening and hobbies as Jumbo," says Jumbo advertising manager Daniel Hofmann. "And it shows Jumbo customers that nothing will change in terms of Jumbo's huge selection and price appeal."

With both a creative wealth of ideas as well as retail and DIY store expertise through many years of work as the parent agency of Coop Bau+Hobby, Kreisvier had met all the requirements for the new challenge. The entire Kreisvier team is already looking forward to the tasks that await them as the lead agency of a real jumbo account, the agency says.
