The destination brand Switzerland is to be creatively developed further and strong marketing measures created and implemented. This is after the brand was repositioned in 2020 and the advertising slogan "I need Switzerland" was created.

Starting in 2021, Switzerland Tourism (ST) will award contracts for the creative further development of the destination brand Switzerland and for the implementation of marketing measures to agencies and film photo production companies in six lots. The tenders started in December 2020. ST is subject to public procurement as a public-law corporation of the Swiss Confederation.

Agencies and film and photo production companies were able to apply for the six lots of the tenders. "We received very many good applications and were thus able to select from a strong field of participants," says André Hefti, Head of Marketing at ST. "Now we look forward to working with the best and most creative minds in Switzerland to further develop the destination brand Switzerland." The framework agreements were concluded for three years.

ST now has access to a pool of 34 agencies and film and photo production companies. These are the selected providers, in alphabetical order:

Lot 1 - Brand management and consulting (3): evoq communications, Jung von Matt/Brand Identity, Made Identity.

Lot 2 - Creative Agency (3): Bold, Metzger Rottmann Bürge, Wirz Communications.
