Train Lotto

Jung von Matt/Limmat has created the largest number lottery in the world for the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). From July 4 to September 30, oversized lottery numbers are built into the nature and train view on the big Graubünden round trip. Whoever discovers at least three lottery numbers has the chance to win great prizes.


The Graubünden round trip is like winning the lottery thanks to the fantastic views, the insight into the rich cultural heritage and the unique comfort in the new "Alvra" articulated train, write the RhB in the announcement of the summer promotion. Along the great Graubünden round trip route, which connects the Graubünden capital Chur with Klosters, Zernez, St. Moritz and Bergün, among others, 20 oversized lottery numbers are integrated into the landscape. Passengers can see, for example, a 13 hanging from a viaduct, a 15 by a mountain stream or a 14 peeking out from between fir trees.

Photograph numbers and win prizes

RhB's world's biggest number lottery works quite simply: guests are asked to photograph the numbers and send at least three and a maximum of six photos to RhB. Those with six hits win the main prize - an RhB GA for six years, in keeping with the sixes in the lottery. With at least three correct hits, you can enjoy other attractive prizes such as a rail weekend in Bergün or a Bernina Express journey including an overnight stay. Three prize draws (July 31, August 31 and September 30, 2017) will determine the lucky winners.


Rail Safari through Graubünden

Get on and off the train as you please for a whole day and discover and experience a lot: The Graubünden round trip can be enjoyed in different variants; while the big round trip leads from Landquart via Klosters, Zernez and St. Moritz back to Chur, the small round trip takes the shortcut through the wild Zügen Gorge between Filisur and Davos. The round trips include sections of the Albula line, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
