"Hey Cancer": Campaign for Race for Life
Republica is once again committed to the fight against cancer and has supported the Race for Life charity race with a campaign and an event and communication concept.
With slogans like "Hey cancer - you're losing this race," the campaign declared war on cancer.
This is the fourth time Republica has supported the charity event in favor of people affected by cancer. Last Sunday, September 11, 2016, the Race for Life took place in Bern for the first time. In a bicycle marathon, participants could generate donations per kilometer ridden, which flowed into research or aid projects. There was a choice of two routes; the hard route led over Bern's local mountain Gurten and the easy one along the Aare river. In addition, a solidarity festival was held on the Bundesplatz.
Republica supported the organization of the event, realized the communication concept and a concise campaign that directly addressed cancer and declared war on it. The various measures such as posters, radio spots and posts on Facebook were used from the beginning of September. In a statement, Republica thanks its partners Form (production), Clear Channel Switzerland (poster display) and Promoton (radio spot), who also contributed to the Race for Life on a gratuitous basis.
