Young talent wanted

Erdmannpeisker has created a new image campaign for Suissetec, the building services association.

The building technology industry needs young talent in order to maintain the high standard of construction in Switzerland in the future. Suissetec, the Swiss-Liechtenstein building technology association, is therefore actively working to improve the image and awareness of the professions. The fact that skilled trades are generally held in low esteem these days also makes the search for motivated apprentices more difficult.

Yet the future lies in this sector: 20 billion will be invested annually in existing buildings by 2030, and 50 percent of Switzerland's energy-saving potential lies in building renovation. There is a lot to do.

Under the message "Let's renovate the future of Switzerland." Erdmannpeisker realized a new TV spot for Suissetec, which is primarily aimed at parents and influencers such as teachers, family and acquaintances and is intended to enhance the image of building technicians.

For the very young target group, which is looking for an apprenticeship, a special online campaign was developed, in which the different professions are presented in a surprising way. The campaign is linked to the portal Top-apprenticeships.ch. There you can find the complete music clip, which was filmed with real building technician apprentices and offers comprehensive information about the different apprenticeships.

Erdmannpeisker prevailed over the competition in a pitch presentation in the fall of 2015 and will be in charge of Suissetec's communications with immediate effect. The existing corporate design and the binder "We, the building technicians." will continue to be used.
