This has never happened before: The male choir "Schluneggers Heimweh" conquers the Swiss music world from a standing start. The album cannot be found in stores or on download portals and yet "Heimweh" has reached gold status in just four weeks.

"Schluneggers Heimweh" is the latest project of Hitmill, the music production company around the producers and composers Fred Herrmann, Georg Schlunegger and Roman Camenzind. With their modern Swiss folk songs, Hitmill and "Heimweh" seem to have hit the nerve of the time.

In the first 24 hours, the choir has already sold more albums than Helene Fischer and Andreas Gabalier in their first week of sales. All this despite the fact that not a single CD has yet gone on sale, either physically or digitally. The choir deliberately decided to sell the album only on its own website. Hitmill entered into a media partnership with Blick. Public reports, advertisements and a discount campaign have aroused readers' curiosity. There is also a hotline set up especially for Blick readers. This makes ordering not only easy but also personal. Orders are placed here and one or two personal stories are also told. All orders are received by Hitmill and are processed there, on strong days, the singers themselves pitch in, according to the announcement. All this to keep the promise: Ordered by 4 p.m., the package with the CD is in the mailbox the next day.

The starting signal for the official trade release will be given on October 29. The album of the eleven singers will only then be available in stores. With this step, Heimweh is heading straight for the next award. TV appearances on SRF and numerous live concerts will follow.
