Werbeweischer Switzerland: Christof Kaufmann becomes CEO

Change of baton in Zurich: Christof Kaufmann will become CEO at Werbeweischer Schweiz on September 1, 2016, and in this position will be responsible for the operational tasks of the cinema advertising marketer.

He will report to Nils Schilling, who, as Managing Director International, will be responsible for the existing Swiss and Austrian markets as well as for future international markets from Werbeweischer's headquarters in Hamburg.

The 47-year-old Christof Kaufmann has many years of experience in the media agency business: In the past six years, as CEO at Dentsu Aegis Network Schweiz AG, he supported clients such as GM, Kelloggs, LVMH, Mondelez, Aldi Schweiz and Helsana, among others. Before that, he was CEO at Omnicom Media Group Schweiz for eight years and Managing Director at Universal McCann Schweiz from 1999 to 2002. For twelve years, Kaufmann was also a board member and representative of the media agencies in BSW - Leading Swiss Agencies.
