SDV Award 2016: The winners
The Swiss dialog marketing industry celebrated the best in their field on Thursday. At the big awards night in Zurich, 37 gold, silver and bronze awards were handed out in 19 categories.

"The advertising of the future is entertainment" was the motto of this year's SDV Awards. In the discipline of dialog marketing, it is becoming increasingly important to intensively shape the exchange between companies and customers. Those who already do this excellently today are not only equipped for the future, but were also among the winners last Thursday."

For the first time, the award night was held at the StageOne event location in Zurich-Oerlikon. Stefan Büsser moderated the event, which was styled like a late-night show, in a relaxed, intelligent and charming manner. Bernese comedian Semih Yavsaner aka Müslüm was at his side as a witty side-kick, while the live band Ray's Class provided additional drive. Then, at 10 p.m., DJane Rita Tarnover took the entertainment scepter in her hands and asked for dancing at the after-party.


The new concept was entertaining and according to the motto real entertainment. Where do you experience live Büssi and Müslüm on the same stage? We believe that no one left early and everyone stayed until the end.

New division
As of this year, the SDV Awards categories are divided into three sections: Media Categories, Industry Categories and Special Categories. In the latter, 4 individual industry prizes were awarded, and in the others a total of 37 gold, silver and bronze awards. 4 of them were awarded gold by the 20-member jury headed by Christian Huldi.

Agency Ranking
Ranked seventh last year, Notch Interactive swung to the top this year. 1x gold, 2x silver and winning the industry award "Campaigns for Financial Service Providers" resulted in 15 points. As in 2015, Agentur am Flughafen was close behind in second place, followed by Wirz Wietlisbach Dialog.

The medal table is calculated according to a point system. For example, a gold medal brings four points and a silver medal three points. Winning an industry award is worth 5 points.

DM Life Time Award to Betty Bossi
The DM Life Time Award was presented for the first time this year. It replaces the previous Post Award, but will continue to be sponsored by Post CH. The award is intended to honor deserving individuals or formative campaigns in direct marketing. The prize was awarded to Betty Bossi, which has been unique and successful for 60 years, not least thanks to its exemplary direct marketing measures. The award was presented by Andreas Lang, Head of Direct Marketing Services at Swiss Post CH.
