Jim & Jim creates campaign for Swiss Epilepsy League

Neil Young, Elton John and Swiss gymnast Lucas Fischer have something in common: the disease epilepsy. Epilepsy is a disease that is more widespread than many might think. In Switzerland alone, around 70,000 people live with epilepsy, including many children and young people. Nevertheless, the disease is still fraught with many prejudices and misconceptions to which sufferers are exposed. The Swiss Epilepsy League would like to dispel these, especially among the young target group, and has therefore launched the "What do you know about epilepsy?" campaign together with Jim & Jim, an agency specializing in youth marketing. The aim is to provide young people with the most important information about epilepsy - such as what to do and what not to do in the event of an epileptic seizure.

Prominent support from vice European champion

In order to reach the young target group, Jim & Jim primarily relied on moving images and the support of Lucas Fischer, artistic gymnast and 2013 European silver medalist on the parallel bars. Fischer, who can be seen in one of two campaign videos, is himself affected by epilepsy and therefore education is particularly close to his heart. A second video emerged from a competition and was created by Dardan Ajfazi on the topic of "Epilepsy on the Internet." User-generated content, like this video, is particularly effective because it is created by the target group for the target group.

With website and a competition against prejudices

The videos are to be shown together with a youth friendly website provide education for the young target group. To make it more interactive, young people can take part in a quiz and win one of four Apple iPhones by July 31, 2016. The campaign will be disseminated in particular via social media channels and posters.
