Maxomedia: Christmas magic for Search.ch and Local.ch

Local.ch and Search.ch give their customers and users joy to pass on. For this purpose, Maxomedia has developed a microsite where you can send your loved ones a Christmas surprise directly to their digital front door.

On the microsite specially designed by Maxomedia, the user is asked where Christmas should be just around the corner. He can enter the desired address in a search field. And then the magic happens. From a bird's eye view, a brightly lit Christmas tree and the message "Happy Holidays" are displayed at the specified address. Thanks to a satellite map connection, the house becomes visible and is inserted into a postcard frame. This creates very personal, digital holiday cards with a Christmas surprise that the user can send by e-mail or share on Facebook.

In addition, the two directories are supporting people in need as part of this Christmas campaign. Due to their strong local ties, Local.ch and Search.ch are donating CHF 20'000 to Winterhilfe Schweiz.
