Under the claim "We, the building technicians", the importance of the profession of plumbers, ventilation and heating engineers and sanitary engineers is highlighted in two different commercials. The aim is to arouse general interest in this traditional sector and encourage young people to take up training and further education in this field.
In order to address the young target group as precisely as possible, Jim & Jim is relying mainly on online channels for its building services campaign. The spots can also be seen in three languages in Swiss cinemas. The in-house media agency Studimedia, which specializes in university marketing and employer branding, was responsible for media planning.
To reach the young target group in an even more authentic way, Jim & Jim also relies on seeding in collaboration with Facebook star Rash Zamorano. The young vlogger's posts reach tens of thousands of users on various social media channels every day.
The campaign also saw the launch of the landing page We-the-building-technicians.ch/training revised. The website shows the two videos and leads the user with one click to the education and training offers of the industry.
