Samsung launches 360° VR music video with Seven

Samsung is using virtual reality to promote its new Wireless Audio 360° Speaker. In collaboration with Serranetga and Swiss soul musician Seven, the company is launching a 360° VR music video for the latter's song "No".

Unlike conventional speakers, which project sound in only one direction, Samsung's new Wireless Audio 360° Speakers evenly fill the entire room with sound. In order to convey this sound experience up close to the target group, the campaign relies on an elaborately produced 360° music video. The proverbial center of the VR experience is the Samsung 360° Speaker, which fills the room with sound in the form of animated sound waves.

Florian Beck, Executive Creative Director of Serranetga, on the project: "Virtual Reality has outgrown the early adopter stage and is well on its way to becoming a mass phenomenon at the latest since Youtube and Facebook support 360° videos."

The music video is promoted via YouTube and Facebook. Even without VR glasses or Google Cardboard, the target group can immerse itself in the virtual world via desktop or smartphone.
