News, entertainment and fun. At the end of 2014, BTL agency Streuplan won the pitch for MTV mobile from Sunrise with its content and social media concept. As part of the campus activities, the first YouTube channel was launched last Monday.

According to the agency, the channel covers everything that moves students. Why are they so sure about that? Because the Youniverse Channel is made by students.

Six video journalists and two producers make up the Youniverse Channel team, which oversees the first video channel by students for students. In the spring, they were sought and found through a broad recruitment campaign at universities and colleges across the country.

And in keeping with MTV's philosophy, the young guns are now taking the helm and producing videos for their generation on an ongoing basis. The Youniverse Channel team is supported by the social publishing portal Storyfilter.com, the film professionals from Futurelite, and Streuplan in all areas of content conception, production, and communication.

This combination of content marketing and social media captures the digital zeitgeist. MTV mobile is thus focusing on targeted inbound marketing in video format. The campaign to launch the Youniverse Channel has been running since Monday in media relevant to the target group.
