In autumn 2014, the Mediapulse Group announced the simplification of its processes and structures. In the meantime, concrete reform measures have been implemented and launched.
Organization into four divisions
The business activities of Publica Data were integrated into Mediapulse in the autumn. Following this merger, four divisions form the new organisational structure. In addition to Research & Development, Sales and Technology, which already report to the Executive Board, Production is now also managed directly by the Executive Board. Technology and Engineering & Support will be merged into the IT & Technology division.
The internal reorganisation has resulted in personnel changes. The previous Head of Sales & Marketing, Gregor Eschle, and Sabine Schwab, Head of Management Service, are leaving the company at the end of the year. Until they leave, both will be involved in the design and implementation of the new organisation.
The sales department, which has been realigned in terms of content, will be re-staffed. The tasks of the Management Service will be taken over by the GL assistance.
At the end of August, Nico Gurtner, previously Head of Communications, is leaving the company at his own request. Christopher Wehrli will be the new Head of Communications. The PR and communications expert will also be tasked with revising internal and external communications and actively driving forward the repositioning.
Franziska von Weissenfluh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors, will act as interim CEO until a new appointment is made.
