Unique seeks barbecue champions for Lidl

Just in time for the barbecue season, Lidl launches a communication offensive. This includes three TV spots developed by Unikat and realized in partnership with Manifesto Films.

The spots and other communication measures also feature long-time brand ambassadors René Schudel and Christian Stucki, both of whom have the relevant thematic expertise. Schudel, as a well-known TV chef, is predestined for culinary matters, and Christian Stucki, the star swinger, is a meat products supplier in his "civilian" life. But the real heroes of the spots are ordinary barbecue fans who mutate into not-so-ordinary barbecue freaks - after all, the point is not to miss anything on the way to becoming a barbecue champion with recipes, tips and various competitions. The films will be broadcast from May onwards and will be accompanied by online and POS measures as well as a dedicated Microsite.
