Valencia is on the trail of nature for Coop

The new Coop collection campaign becomes a nature experience. To promote the "Adventure Nature" promotion, Valencia Kommunikation is relying entirely on the power of Swiss flora and fauna.

In cooperation with WWF Switzerland, Coop invites you to discover the Swiss flora and fauna with 128 game and special cards as well as the large scrapbook. Valencia Kommunikation was allowed to design the campaign for this. "Swiss nature is particularly fascinating. It was therefore important to us to put the animals and plants at the center of our communication," says Valencia CEO Michael Gerber. Accordingly, the campaign's key visual also shows a whole range of animals: from lynx and brown bear to dormouse and salamander.

Animals are also the stars in the accompanying TV commercial. "Naturally, nature was also to play the leading role in the TV spot," adds Valencia CD Tommy Schilling, "which proved to be a particular challenge." Working closely with the WWF, care was taken to ensure that the species featured were Swiss. Says Gerber, "As a sustainability-oriented agency, it was a pleasure to work with one of the world's largest conservation organizations." The result is a fairy-tale spot in which a girl with the trading cards dives into an impressive natural world full of adventure.

In the "Adventure Nature" campaign, 128 playing cards can be collected, including special scent, luminous or thermal cards. Each card is dedicated to a Swiss animal species or plant and offers various game options such as quartet, domino or "Who am I?". The cards are complemented by a rich collection album in which the cards can be inserted. For the first time, the collected cards can also be managed through the special app, where there are more games, craft instructions, short films and much more to discover.
