The founder of Publicist PR & Communications is Harry H. Meier. After more than 15 years in communications on the client side, he knows the needs of demanding clients. Meier, who took his first steps in communications at Geneva-based luxury watchmaker Patek Philippe, was responsible for public relations for automotive brands Audi and Seat, among others, and most recently for Allianz Suisse. For Audi, he also served as press spokesman for product and technology in Germany.

"I'm often asked where I see the opportunities for my agency," says Meier and immediately gives the answer: "I'm very well networked in French-speaking Switzerland and often commute back and forth between Zurich, Lausanne and Geneva. Being active throughout Switzerland is therefore not just an empty phrase for me, but a lived reality. First and foremost, my clients benefit from this." Publicist PR & Communications has a broad network of partners, according to a statement. This enables the agency to offer the appropriate solutions for all communication needs.

Actually, only one question remains: Doesn't the name remind you too much of the Zurich advertising agency Publicis in font and tone (depending on the language)? In response to an inquiry from Werbewoche.ch, Meier explains that he is "well aware" of the problem. However, he considers the risk of confusion to be "relatively low," especially since he operates in a different business field with PR. In addition, the logo is clearly different. However, he is not quite sure yet: "Maybe it will be completely different in the end, which I don't hope for....". We'll stay tuned. (pd/hae)
