Havas is the new lead advertising agency for Switzerland Tourism

After around ten years, Switzerland Tourism (ST) has made a change to its lead advertising agency: Havas Worldwide Zurich/Geneva will shape ST's advertising presence from January 1, 2015. In 2005, ST teamed up with the Zurich agency Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett (later Leo Burnett Switzerland), which until then had been responsible for the central advertising campaigns. With the aim of dynamizing its advertising presence, ST carried out an agency pitch in the fall of 2014 in accordance with the ordinance on public procurement VöB, which is binding for ST.

ST chose the agency Havas Worldwide Zurich/Geneva, with offices in Zurich and Geneva, which will shape ST's communication and advertising strategy from the beginning of 2015. The decisive factors in the choice were Havas Worldwide's international expertise and the creative concept presented in the pitch, which differentiates and surprises.

The first ST campaign for which Havas Worldwide Zurich/Geneva will be responsible for the first time will be the winter campaign 2015/2016.

Leo Burnett Switzerland: new on the road with Walder shoes.

The traditional and renowned Schuhhaus Walder AG has its new advertising presence developed by Leo Burnett Switzerland. With 46 specialty stores in the footwear and accessories sector and over 400 employees, Schuhhaus Walder is one of the largest shoe stores in Switzerland and, with Walder Junior, is a leader in the children's footwear sector. The Swiss family business based in Brüttisellen is now run by the sixth generation of Walder and celebrated its 140th anniversary in 2014. The joy is great on both sides. The first works will be on display in spring 2015.

Walker carpenters on new stage for Swiss Music Awards

Kilian Gasser with new tasks

Kilian Gasser Medienvermarktung, based in Altdorf UR, has changed its mandate structure. After 5 years of successful collaboration, Kilian Gasser has relinquished the marketing mandate for the magazine of Pro Senectute Switzerland, Zeitlupe, as of December 31, 2014. The reason for this is his election to the municipal council (executive) of Altdorf, the capital of Uri, which requires additional work. Since 1.1.2015, Kilian Gasser has been devoting himself to the new tasks in his place of residence as an SP representative with a 30-percent workload, where he is responsible for the "Culture" and "Youth/Education" departments.

In the publishing sector, Kilian Gasser continues to manage the marketing mandates for the titles Die Zeit (Swiss edition of the German quality newspaper), Wohnen (member magazine of the Swiss Association of Housing Cooperatives) and Links (member newspaper of the Swiss Social Democratic Party). In addition, Kilian Gasser Medienvermarktung acts as the office for the advertising combination Ökopool, which is currently being realigned.

 


Amnesty International now prints at Stämpfli

Since the beginning of the year, Amnesty International Switzerland has relied on the services of Stämpfli for the production of its specialist and member magazine. Amnesty International's cooperation with Stämpfli includes printing and lettershop of the quarterly Amnesty Magazine. The aim of the magazine is to inform members and the Swiss public about human rights violations worldwide and in Switzerland.

For Amnesty International, the decisive factors for the new collaboration were the cost-justified, professional services offered as well as Stämpfli's broad experience with similar clients in the nonprofit sector.
