Notch: e-commerce platform created for Kitag

After the agency Notch Interactive won the pitch for the new website of the cinema operator Kitag, the new e-commerce platform went live in a completely revised design.

For Kino-Theater AG - Kitag for short - the website represents an important, revenue-relevant box office. For this reason, all user journeys were consistently geared towards ticket purchases. Cinema tickets can be purchased on all devices. Thanks to the new mobile tickets, you always have your ticket in your pocket, and those who use Swisscom Natel Pay can also pay for it conveniently with their cell phone bill. Those who buy tickets for their friends can send them directly from the platform via e-mail. All Carte Bleue holders benefit from a 10 percent discount at the cinema kiosk. The Carte Bleue is now also available virtually and can now be purchased directly online.

Besides the transaction mechanisms inspires Kitag.com moviegoers to the perfect cinematic experience thanks to generous and emotional artwork of all current and future films, according to a statement. Trailers, background information and cast lists also make it even easier to choose the right film.

To generate attention for the new website and its new features, Notch Interactive has also produced a cinema and TV spot.

As part of the complete overhaul of the platform, measures outside the website were also visually redesigned, such as popcorn bags, 3D glasses and gift cards. The flat and reduced design creates calm and clarity in the overall appearance and thus puts the focus on the essentials - the films.
