Customer representatives on Lions jury for the first time

Wendy Clark, Präsidentin von Sparkling Brands & Strategic Marketing Coca-Cola North America, wird die Jury der Kategorie «Create Effectiveness» präsidieren. Gleichzeitig ändern die Organisatoren die Einreichkriterien für die Kategorie.

"I am delighted to be President of the 'Creative Effectiveness Jury' at Cannes 2015 and honored to be the first client-side representative to preside over the jury for this coveted award. Nothing should be more important to clients than the creativity that builds our brands and our business. The 'Creative Effectiveness Lions' build a measurable bridge between creativity and effectiveness," Clark was quoted as saying in a statement Wednesday.

New submission criteria

Introduced in 2011, the Creative Effectiveness category combines creativity with brand effectiveness and recognizes work with proven business success. Now, works that have either won an award or made it onto the shortlist at the Cannes Lions Festival from March 1, 2011, to April 30, 2014, can be entered into the Creative Effectiveness category. Previously, this only applied to works from the previous year. The new rule is a response to feedback from the industry and a tribute to the effectiveness of outstanding creative work.
