Adicto serves fresh brand for the plant 1
What began as an industrial building in Gossau around 1900 will become a cultural and economic center in 2014 with the new Werk 1 restaurant. The Adicto agency serves up the matching brand.
Less than a five-minute walk from the Gossau train station, in the residential and industrial area of the town, is a venerable brick building. Formerly the Happy mattress factory, the building has developed into a cultural and economic center. In addition to the Gossau Public Library, the new Raiffeisen Entrepreneur Center (RUZ) and various smaller businesses, the building also houses the Werk 1 restaurant.
The restaurant opened its doors in June 2014 and, in addition to the special ambience, offers modern Swiss cuisine, its own wine cellar and large, bright rooms for occasions and events. For this purpose, in addition to the daytime and dining restaurant, there is also a smokers' lounge, a large terrace, a seminar room with 25 seats and a hall for 250 people available on 1,200 square meters. One brand
In consultation with the owner and in close cooperation with tenant Thomas Breitenmoser, Adicto pursued the intention of integrating the striking industrial building at Fabrikstrasse 7 into its urban surroundings as a brand image. Based on "Art Nouveau", a modernized typeface was developed for the restaurant's brand identity as well as for the building's signaling. This is also used in the corporate design of the restaurant. Anyone walking through the premises or leafing through the menus will come across Werk 1's distinctive brand font again and again.
A member of the Enjoyment Union
Werk 1 is a member of Genuss Union and is specifically committed to long-term quality assurance in the catering industry in eastern Switzerland. Genuss Union already operates a very well-known restaurant in the region, the "Henessenmühle" in Gossau. Genuss Union's range of services includes operational management, training and further education, coaching of young companies, quality management as well as marketing and communication activities. Here, too, Adicto was responsible for the complete brand launch - from name finding to brand strategy and positioning to design implementation.
