Znip Znap: Töfflibuebe Game for Ticino Turismo

Znip Znap designed and realized the "Töfflibuebe" game for Ticino Turismo to match the current TV commercial. Participants play to win instant and weekly prizes while discovering what Ticino has to offer.

The Spot shows the former motorcyclists from the 80s that they can now get to Ticino in two hours.

The competition adds an emotional charge to the message of the TV commercial and makes it a fun experience. The online motorcycle tour starts on the Gotthard at the border with Ticino, after the participant has chosen their 3D motorcycle and their Bueb from the TV commercial. By turning the Gazosa bottle, the moped moves forward in a southerly direction. Event fields on the tour ensure that it is never really boring, just like on a real motorcycle trip, according to a press release. While various breakdowns delay the journey, the many prize partners such as mountain railroads, e-bikes and boats ensure that you can reach your destination in Chiasso even faster without a moped and thus make it into the weekly rankings. The top eight in the ranking list win hotel accommodation and other prizes every week. Additional points for the weekly ranking are awarded to those who invite their Facebook friends and, above all, those who answer the many bonus questions about the prize partners. These questions are used to learn the USPs of the individual prize partners and Ticino. In addition to the weekly prizes, participants also regularly win instant prizes while playing.

The game, which was created together with Znip Znap's partner agency Seitenkick, recreates the Ticino landscape and its many tourist attractions with great attention to detail and is integrated into the Ticino Turismo website as an iFrame. Each of the total of 15 game regions also has its own typical background noises - in addition to the motorcycle sound - so that you can imagine yourself in Ticino while playing. The Töfflibuebe game has been running successfully for over a month and has already been completed over 15,000 times. An entire tour lasts around twelve minutes, which means that participants have very long and intensive contact with the Ticino Turismo offer on the website. As with all Znip Znap online competitions, the tried-and-tested Game Center is used, where, in addition to user handling, the instant prize vouchers (PDFs) are automatically generated and can be downloaded by the winners.
