Walker relies on the book medium for Mission 21

To generate donations for Mission 21's current education project, Walker designed a mailing. This relies on the oldest medium of all: the book.

Not one book exactly, but 20'000 different ones. Each novel written in the name of the respective recipient. In the story, an award-winning young author takes the reader to where his donation is desperately needed: To Karim, a boy in a refugee camp in Central Africa. On page 20, the novel is abruptly interrupted and the reader is asked to continue Karim's story. Because the more book pages the reader donates, the better the story will be, according to the mailing's motto.
