Habegger establishes subsidiary in Italy

Regensdorf-based event service provider Habegger is expanding into Italy and opening a branch office in Milan.

Having grown from the event technology sector over 30 years, Habegger has successfully established itself as a premium service provider for events and media installations. For years, Habegger has been implementing demanding large-scale projects as a technical general contractor, both nationally and internationally. In April 2014, Habegger is now establishing a subsidiary in Milan as a permanent representation in Italy. According to the press release, this step will enable the company to provide optimum support, especially for projects relating to the 2015 World Expo. Francesco Stendardo, an experienced project manager at Habegger, will head the agency in Milan.

Habegger's business activities are increasingly shifting to the entire spectrum of staging events - from creative conception to technical implementation. This increasingly includes the design of digital media and interactive communication tools in space. In her function as overall project manager, Habegger has already been able to implement many event and exhibition projects on an international and national scale, most recently large-scale projects for ABB, the Miss Switzerland contest, Art on Ice and also in Qatar. For exhibition projects at Expo Milano 2015, Habegger offers its clients the best possible conditions - broad professional experience and high-quality project management.

Francesco Stendardo takes over the management of the Milano office and the on-site coordination of all projects. He has many years of experience in the project management of challenging large-scale international projects. Francesco Stendardo has been working for Habegger for 10 years, is very familiar with all planning processes and speaks fluent Italian. The team on site is strengthened by two further employees who bring in-depth know-how in the coordination and planning of demanding large-scale projects: Peter Koley in the role of Business Development Manager and Gerarda Cirulli as Key Account Manager.

Habegger's branch is located directly at the Milano exhibition center and offers extensive storage and pre-installation facilities. Francesco Stendardo says, "In just a five-minute walk, we are live on site at the Expo area. But I believe our customers can also count on a particularly good starting point with us in other respects."
