Republica: prevention campaign for FMS and BFU

After winning the pitch last summer, Republica designed and implemented the prevention campaign "Stayinʼ Alive" in collaboration with the Federation of Motorcyclists of Switzerland, FMS, as well as the BFU - Swiss Federal Agency for Accident Prevention.

The goal: to reduce the number of collision accidents with motorcycles. The campaign starts in mid-April and is scheduled to run for three years (2014-2016).

When spring comes around again, many a motorcyclist wonders: Is hunting season open again? Just the right time, then, to launch the "Stayinʼ Alive" motorcycle prevention campaign. The claim and visual of the three-year campaign are based on the fact that motorcyclists are often overlooked by other road users due to their narrow silhouette. They have to reckon with being "shot down" in the worst case - as they say in biker jargon. Using clever survival strategies, the "Stayinʼ Alive" campaign teaches bikers how they can best protect themselves by riding defensively and with foresight - without having to sacrifice the fun of riding.

National 360° communication

"Stayinʼ Alive" is used nationally and plays on the entire keyboard of 360° communication. This includes posters, notice boards, trade fairs and industry events, as well as a TV spot. The prevention effect is reinforced by the so-called "Bikerguide". The guide reminds people of simple rules and tips on how to behave when riding a motorcycle in a humorous way. The website and a PR offensive round off the activities. The "Stayinʼ Alive" campaign was presented for the first time at Swissmoto in Zurich at an exhibition stand designed by Republica with an integrated driving simulator that is unique in Switzerland. The booth will be used at various events throughout the motorcycle season.
