Heroic deeds of Jumana Issa and Nicolai Spicher

Jumana Issa and Nicolai Spicher's concept took first place in the SDV Junior Award in spring 2013. As a prize, the two apprentices were allowed to realize the campaign at Ogilvy.

Fight the rampant direct marketing mainstream with new, fresh, surprising, unusual - in a word: creative - ideas! This was the challenge of this year's SDV Awards. Jumana Issa and Nicolai Spicher accepted the challenge and convinced the jury with their ideas.

Now the three DM Heroes, Captain Creative, Mailing Man and Web Woman, have been inspiring and challenging creatives to heroic deeds in the fight against mainstream zombies in ads, brochures and stationery, as well as on flyers, posters and banners for several weeks. The characters were developed by Jumana Issa and Nicolai Spicher themselves, and professionally realized by illustrators Carsten and Torsten Odenthal.
