Wunderman: Suva Safety Charter Revised

The safety charter, which Suva promotes with partners from the business community, was expanded to include other industries after the construction sector. In the course of this expansion, the website was also completely revised.

The operators are pursuing two goals with the new site, according to the press release. On the one hand, it is intended to attract many new charter signatories. On the other hand, the site should also become a contact point for third parties who are looking for providers who have signed the charter. With these two goals in mind, the Wunderman team has designed a site that can be operated with just one finger, thanks to the use of parallax technology. From entry to sign-up, potential Charter signatories can scroll through the entire site and see the reasons and benefits for signing up served up like a movie. They can set the pace themselves and, if they wish, obtain more in-depth information in each area. The structure of the site is based on the natural course of a personal conversation at the end of which the question arises whether one is convinced and wants to participate. In just a few steps, companies can register for the safety charter.

And just a short time after registering, the company appears on the centerpiece of the new platform - the map with all participating companies. Using an easy-to-use filter function, companies and individuals can find companies in various industries that have signed the charter and contact them directly through the site. Over time, the operators of Security-charter.ch sure, the platform will develop into a kind of "Yellow Pages for companies with a high safety culture" and become an important acquisition and marketing tool for Swiss companies. The fact that the safety of employees is strengthened at the same time is the side effect that is particularly important for Suva. For the insurer, the safety charter is an important factor in being able to prevent 250 fatal accidents and just as many serious accidents over the next ten years.
