Twelve winners at Swiss Star 2013
The SVI is holding the Swiss Star packaging competition for the 44th time. Twelve packages won the Swiss Star. In addition, an audience award was presented, which is voted for by consumers.
With 51 entries, it was once again an above-average year, according to a press release issued on Friday. 20 entries were nominated for a Swiss Star, of which twelve packaging products won the Swiss Star. This year, the field of participants mainly represented the packaging materials corrugated cardboard, fine cardboard and plastic. All winners with pictures can be found here.
"Appezölle Hüüsli" wins the audience award
The "Appezölle Hüüsli" from Equisa Verpackungen won the Audience Award 2013. The packaging shows a typical Appenzell house filled with specialties from the region. This is intended to increase the recognition value for tourists in particular, but also for locals, and to emphasize the regionality.
Swiss Star - competition for the best packaging
The Swiss Packaging Institute SVI awards the Swiss Star for outstanding achievements in the packaging industry. The aim of the competition is to highlight the creativity and innovative strength of the Swiss packaging industry. The award is therefore the flagship of the industry. Winning a Swiss Star enables participation in the World Stars.
