Leo Burnett Switzerland: The first marathon for cows

For Bio Suisse, Leo Burnett Switzerland, in collaboration with Xeit, is launching what is probably the most unusual marathon in the world: the Cow Marathon. This is to show that organic cows have a particularly large amount of outdoor space.

A total of ten cows from different Swiss regions are taking part without having to leave their own organic farm, according to the statement. Equipped with GPS transmitters, the cows graze on their pastures while the distances covered are measured. The cow that first reaches the marathon distance of 42.195 kilometers wins.

As of now you can visit Cow-marathon.ch and, with a bit of luck, become a winner yourself. Because whoever picks the winning cow will be entered into a prize draw for organic vacations. The race itself starts on May 27 and can be followed online.
