Leo Burnett distributes patterns not better - but longer

The Ovo distribution campaign designed by Leo Burnett Switzerland only stops when one million samples have gone. Around a third are gone after two days.

Switzerland's biggest sampling campaign to date has been underway since Monday: one million small Ovomaltine sample portions are to be distributed. The highlight of the campaign is that the promotion team is proving the popular slogan "Not better, but longer" itself and will be working almost around the clock until the very last sample has been distributed.

The promotion team is divided between three locations - the main train stations in Zurich, Bern and Lausanne. Samples from the entire Ovomaltine range will be handed out for sampling. Not included in the million are, of course, all the Ovomaltine products that the sampling team itself needs to get through the campaign devised by Leo Burnett Switzerland.

In addition to a visit on site, you can also find out how the stubborn troop is faring when distributing the million samples via Facebook and Twitter. The Ovomaltine representatives continuously post contributions from the sampling front, for example about the current mood in the team, interesting booth visitors, funny incidents and much more.

After two days, 336,936 portions have been distributed, according to the statement. And the people at the stand are still in a good mood. On Wednesday, the promoters will receive support from Didier Cuche - from 11 a.m. at Bern main station, and from 3 p.m. at Zurich main station.
