SFLB: Christie's auctions portrait photos

To mark its 100th anniversary, SFLB sent out 15 young photographers on behalf of the Swiss Bankers Association to take portraits of 100 people in their profession. The portraits have now been auctioned off.

From the works of the photographers (Werbewoche.ch reported), a book with 100 portraits including 100 thank-yous to the various professionals was created, as the Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett agency writes in a press release. The photographs themselves were exhibited at various locations in Switzerland throughout the year and were representative of the entire Swiss population. At the end of the anniversary year, on December 5, 2012, others were also able to rejoice: after 80 photographs had previously been acquired in a silent auction, twenty were subsequently put under the auction hammer at the Karin Sutter Gallery in Basel under the direction of Christie's. The proceeds of CHF 65,000 will go to the Speranza Foundation, which supports the integration of young and older people into the world of work.

Responsible at Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett: Reto Clement, Diana Rossi (Creation), Peter Brönnimann (Executive Creative Director), Rolf Zimmermann (Strategy), Isabelle Meier, Nadine Stüssi (Consulting).
