Eight excursion tips in the form of tours offer the population a wide variety of ideas for a Sunday outing, for a haphazard winter's day or for a get-together with friends, according to a statement. The Fairytale Tour, for example, takes families along the Witches' Staircase to the legendary Dragon Maze, revealing historical background information and insider tips along the way. The City Fringe Tour reveals unknown vantage points where the city can be enjoyed from a different perspective. The Circle of Friends Tour and the Latino Tour accompany a younger audience through Lucerne's nightlife and provide suggestions for an entertaining evening. Gottis and Göttis will also find input for an excursion with their godchild, should they run out of ideas for once.
According to the press release, the app is intended to differentiate itself from the previously known city guides by presenting places that can be found away from the tourist crowds. The app is visually playful and invites you to discover a different side of the city of Lucerne. It is available free of charge in the Appstore ready for download. The app was created and programmed with Adobe DPS (Digital Publishing Suite) and Indesign CS5 to CS6.
