M&M Global Awards: OMD receives "Agency Network of the Year" award

Das Medianetzwerk OMD hat sich bei der Verleihung der M&M Global Awards an die Spitze gesetzt und erhält die Auszeichnung zum «Agency Network of the Year». Die britischen M&M Awards zeichnen die kreativsten und effektivsten internationalen Kampagnen aus.

OMD also received top rankings in five other categories:

- The Effectiveness Award: Persil Abaya Mission Innovation - Henkel
- Best Targeted Campaign: PSE Targeted - Sony
- Best CSR Campaign: Futurescapes - Sony
- Best Local Execution by a Global Brand: Russian Social Sensation: Persil Brilliance- Henkel
- Best International Launch Campaign: Smurf - Sony Pictures

A new record was set this year: Over 340 submissions came to the jury in London. "This number once again underlines the competition OMD faced and ultimately came out on top through brilliant work," says Nikki Mendonça, President OMD EMEA.

But OMD didn't just shine at the M&M Awards - 2012 was also a very successful year for the agency network in other respects: In June, OMD had cleaned up in Cannes and became the media network with the most awards in the individual rankings. In addition, the agency received the Media Grand Prix for the Google "Voice Search" campaign. In the Effie Effectiveness Index, the network was named the most effective agency network worldwide. This year's RECMA Network Diagnostics Report also attested to OMD's exceptional success and once again placed OMD at the top of the global rankings.
