Match Communications: Charity Promotion

On behalf of Sihlcity, the Match Communications agency campaigned for the fight against breast cancer and received prominent support.

As co-sponsor of the Pink Ribbon Charity Walk, Sihlcity wants to set an example in the fight against breast cancer on its fifth anniversary. Therefore, the Match Communications agency was commissioned with the development and implementation of the "Accessories for Life" fundraising campaign. The color magenta as a common denominator (magenta is the corporate color for both Sihlcity and Pink Ribbon) and the idea of solidarity gave the agency the basic idea for the campaign, according to a statement. Thus, the magenta-colored plastic sheet that decorated the Sihlcity chimney in March was transformed into fashionable accessories directly at the Sihlcity chimney and sold for the good cause. Over the course of seven days, talented seamstresses on the Kalanderplatz transformed the sheet into trendy shopping bags, student cases or iPhone and iPod cases at the request of the buyers. The campaign received additional celebrity support from Christa Rigozzi and Anita Buri. Accessories are still available at the Sihlcity Info Point (while stocks last).
