Microsoft Switzerland: Change in the Executive Board

Hanspeter Quadri, Head of Large Accounts at Microsoft Switzerland, is moving to the Large Accounts business of Microsoft Western Europe as Chief Operating Officer as of July 1, 2012. His successor at Microsoft Switzerland is still open.

During the transition phase, Petra Jenner, Country Manager Microsoft Switzerland, will be directly responsible for managing the division, according to a statement on Tuesday. The search for a successor has already begun.

In his new role as COO, Hanspeter Quadri is responsible for the key account business in this region as Head of the entire Sales Management & Sales Operations of Western Europe. His responsibilities include simplifying and improving operations, increasing performance and productivity in the individual countries, and coordinating the various key account activities in the area of sales and services. In his role, Hanspeter Quadri reports directly to Sherif Seddik, General Manager Enterprise & Partner Group, Microsoft Western Europe.

Hanspeter Quadri joined the management team of Microsoft Switzerland in 2006 as head of the large customer business. According to the statement, he and his team have made a significant contribution to the growth of the large customer business over the past six years.

Quadri looks back on a long career in the ICT market. Before joining Microsoft Switzerland in June 2006, he spent seven years as Managing Director at Swisscom Enterprise Solutions, where he was responsible for building up and managing the network-based solutions business. Prior to that, Hanspeter Quadri worked for IBM for 20 years in various international and national management positions.
