AWS strengthens generic marketing activity

The Swiss Outdoor Advertising Association AWS has stepped up its genre marketing activities, launched a poster campaign for the billboard, and given itself a new, revamped website.

In collaboration with the Euro RSCG advertising agency in Zurich, the Swiss Outdoor Advertising Association (AWS) has developed a poster campaign that sums up the advantages of poster advertising in a simple and striking way, thus proving how poster advertising should work. The core idea of the campaign is to stage the poster as a large medium. The size of the poster stands for the great potential of brand success, the association said in a statement on Monday. This is visualized with small products that - almost in their original size - vividly demonstrate the power of poster advertising. All under the motto "For great things. The poster.".

Icons of the brand world such as Victorinox pocket knives, Haribo Gold Bears, BIC razors and Duracell batteries were won as protagonists for the campaign. The subjects can now be seen throughout Switzerland in various formats as well as on e-boards and e-panels. At the same time as the campaign was launched, AWS also revised its website and brought it up to date on the subject of outdoor advertising.
