A Fiat hangs at Zurich's main train station

These days, an unmissable 3D installation by Fiat Group Automobiles Switzerland is surprising passers-by at Zurich's main train station. Four of their cars are hanging in all directions from a huge, illuminated cube.

A 13.5-meter-high and 4.0-meter-wide cube stands in the Wannerhalle of Zurich's main train station, with a full-size Fiat 500 model mounted on each side. With this campaign, Fiat wants to draw attention to Fiat 500 Style Day with Bruce Darnell on June 9, 2012 in Zurich's Sihlcity shopping center. This special form of advertising was commissioned by the customer Fiat from APG|SGA Mega Poster, according to an APG|SGA release.

The cube was created in close collaboration with the creative agency Hessskisssulzersutter and the long-standing APG|SGA mega-poster partner Richnerstutz. The cube consists of a truss construction and is covered with printed canvas. The Fiat 500 models are dummies, made with fiberglass technology. This makes the cars much lighter than original models and enables this unusually large staging.

The giant cube is on display at Zurich Main Station until June 5, 2012.
