Adweek names OMD Global Media Agency of the Year 2011

OMD again receives the "Global Media Agency of the Year" award from Adweek after 2008 and 2009. OMD was also pleased with other awards such as eight Media Lions.

Last year, the Adweek award-winning "Global Media Agency of the Year" won seven out of eight global competitions, including clients such as Levi's, Groupe Bel and Tourism Australia. In addition to winning new clients, OMD also enjoyed great success at Cannes; in June, it won eight Media Lions, including a Golden Lion in the Best Use of Branded Content category for its support at Nissan's GT Academy. That made it the most awarded media agency network of the 2011 festival.
