Federal Office of Culture awards "Grand Prix Design 2011
This year, the Federal Office of Culture is awarding the "Grand Prix Design" to four internationally renowned designers. The prizes go to product designer Jörg Boner, Dimitri Bruni and Manuel Krebs, photographer Ernst Scheidegger and shoe designer Walter Steiger.
Their works, as well as those of the winners of the "Swiss Federal Award for Design", will be honored in an exhibition. It will be held under the title "Design Prizes of the Swiss Confederation 2011" at mudac - Musée de design et d'arts appliqués contemporains in Lausanne. The vernissage is on October 18.
