Jung von Matt/Limmat: Roland Thomann new Head of PR
Roland Thomann will take over as head of Jung von Matt/Limmat's eight-strong PR unit from August 1, 2011. The PR unit will co-develop and implement brand communication concepts in collaboration with Jung von Matt/Brand Identity.
Roland Thomann graduated from the University of Zurich with a degree in politics, journalism and economic history and worked for several years as a communications consultant at agencies including Wirz Public Relations, Netvertising and Jung von Matt/Limmat. He then spent three years at the international humanitarian aid organization Médecins Sans Frontières/Médecins Sans Frontières at its headquarters in Geneva, first as Head of Communications Switzerland and then as Vice Director for Communications and Fundraising. Most recently, Thomann served as Head of Communications and Marketing Services at Precious Woods Holding, a pioneering sustainable tropical timber company listed on the Swiss stock exchange.
