Zurich: New Global Head of Corporate Communications
Zurich Financial Services Group has announced the appointment of Angel Serna as Global Head of Corporate Communications as of July 1, 2011. The 45-year-old succeeds Pierre Goad, who took over the post last May.
In his new role, Angel Serna will be responsible for Zurich's global corporate communications and will report to CEO Martin Senn. Serna has been Head of Media Relations at Zurich since 2006. Prior to this, the Spanish-Swiss dual national worked for over twelve years as a correspondent and business editor at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. He holds a doctorate and a master's degree in economics from the University of Zurich.
