Walker wins observer budget

The popular magazine Beobachter, founded in 1926, will be managed with immediate effect by the Walker advertising agency.

The Swiss institution, which has an integrated advisory centre for members and its own book publishing house, is unique in the world, Walker said in a statement. Now the Observer also wants to go new ways in communication. Axel Springer Switzerland is relying on the "smallest advertising agency in the world" for this. Following an intensive strategy phase, the new campaign will be launched in the second half of the year.

Responsible with the observer: Roland Wahrenberger (Managing Director Beobachter), Thomas Knell (Head of Reader Market Beobachter). Responsible at Walker: Cornelia Nünlist.
