Net-Metrix: Mediapulse acquires SRG shares

The Mediapulse Foundation for Media Research is taking over all SRG shares in the Internet research company Net-Metrix with immediate effect. This step is intended to take account of the ever closer dovetailing of the media genres of TV and radio with the medium of the Internet.

According to Net-Metrix, intermedia research is steadily gaining in importance. Today's demands on media research go far beyond the consideration of singular media genres. This also requires new organizational units adapted to the circumstances. With the new shareholder structure, Net-Metrix will be able to optimally fulfill its interface function with the traditional media in the future, according to a statement by Jürg Weber, Chairman of the Board of Directors. The new Industry research organization founded in 2007 by the following shareholders: Wemf AG for advertising media research (print, cinema, sponsoring), Mediapulse for media research (TV and radio) and Simsa (Swiss Internet Industry Association).
