Goldbach Interactive turns on the slot machine for McDonalds

McDonalds is bringing the Chicken-Bacon-Onion-Burger (CBO) back to its restaurants after two years and promoting it with a national poster campaign. As an accompanying measure, Goldbach Interactive has realized a trilingual microsite.

At Cbo.ch burger lovers can play for menu vouchers at the virtual slot machine every day. In addition, McDonalds is giving away a Sony Playstation 3 to all players. Those who no longer have any coins to play with can invite friends to the game via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail recommendation and receive a new chance to win for each invitation sent.

In parallel to the microsite for McDonalds, Goldbach Interactive has developed a Facebook fansite created. The challenge in creating the microsite was to subsequently animate the given game wheels in Flash, according to the statement. Numerous standard and special advertising media, which run via Mediamind, such as roadblocks, wallpapers or expandable ads (msn messenger) are to ensure high attention for Cbo.ch.

The online measures were created in close cooperation with the media agency OMD and the classic agency TBWA Zurich.
